Help give Andrew the holiday he deserves

PLEASE help a very deserving young man get a holiday break.

That’s the plea from the carers of Ayr lad Andrew Boyle, 25.

And Andrew will himself take part in a sponsored cycle run from Greenan Shore to Troon Marina.

It was thanks to generous well-wishers that cash was raised four years ago to buy Andrew a specially adapted bike with a detachable wheelchair.

A big chunk of the cash came from customers of Ayr’s Tam o’ Shanter Inn.

And Terry Tynski, one of Andrew’s support workers, says the pub’s customers are again digging deep to help the young man.

Terry said: “We’re fundraising to take Andrew on holiday to Krakow in Poland next year.

“He has been before and absolutely loved it.”

Terry added: “Andrew has very complex disabilities.

“But he doesn’t allow this to dampen his love of life or adventure.”

Anyone wishing to donate to Andrew’s holiday fund can do so by cash or cheque.

Place in a suitably marked envelope and hand it in to the Tam o’ Shanter Inn, High Street, Ayr.

Or make a cheque payable to Andrew Boyle and send it c/o 4 Souter Place, Ayr.
