AN AYR author returned to his home town to sign copies of his latest book.
And Tony Black hinted that he might set a novel in the Auld Toon.
The former pupil of Belmont Academy visited Waterstone’s to sign copies of his novel ‘Gutted,’ his latest Edinburgh-based Gus Drury crime novel.
Tony said: “I grew up in Ayr, so it’s great to get back and see the place. I could set a book here, no problem. I’d love to set a book here actually – watch this space.”
