Vintage vehicles hit the roads
YOU’D be forgiven for thinking you’d stepped back in time when dozens of vintage vehicles take to the roads this weekend.
The vintage vehicle road run will set off from the Low Green in Ayr at noon on Saturday, July 11, following a three-hour static display.
The stunning vehicles will parade down the High Street before following a route to Cumnock Caponacre car park where they will have a lunch break from 1pm until 2.30pm.
The rally will then set off for Portpatrick, where they are expected to arrive at 4pm.
And it’s not all over yet.
For the run will set off from Portpatrick the following morning at 10am and return to Ayr via Wigtown.
It’s scheduled to arrive at SAC Auchincruive at 4pm.
