Ayr biker is killed on the M8
A 22-YEAR-OLD man died when he lost control of his motorbike.
Euan McMorland of Ayr was riding his Kawasaki bike on the westbound carriageway of the M8 near Shotts when the crash happened.
It is believed that the bike struck the central reservation at 11.40pm on Saturday, July 4.
Mr McMorland died at the scene.
Enquiries are continuing and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
