Scott family and Tiger the cat
A BELOVED family pet needed life saving surgery – after a brutal attack broke its leg.
Tiger the cat managed to limp back in agony to his Ayr home following the shocking assault.
And the puss now faces life with a metal pole and two pins in his leg.
Shocked owners Lee-Ann and Steven Scott were also hit with a £345 vet bill and three distraught children.
They want the attacker to know the misery their actions have left behind.
Steven, of Ayr, revealed: “I just want the person to know how much grief they’ve caused.
“My twin boys had their sixth birthday the day after this happened and it was totally ruined.
“The vet took a look at the damage and said there was no evidence of any tyre marks, so we can only assume Tiger was attacked.”
The moggy went for his afternoon stroll around the streets at his home in Sannox View at 4.30pm on Thursday, June 11.
But he was soon back on the doorstep nursing much more than a minor ailment.
Lee-Ann added: “The children were absolutely distraught at the thought of nearly losing their gorgeous cat.
“To them it’s not just a pet – it’s a part of the family.
“I’d like to thank the disgusting person or people who did this to my cat; I hope they feel extremely happy with themselves.”
