BRIDES-TO-BE are set to pick up a bargain at a charity wedding fair.
All the money raised from the big event this weekend will go to The Butterfly Trust.
There are over 30 stunning wedding gowns up for sale, ranging in price from £150 to £250.
The doors are guaranteed to be bursting with brides.
The wedding fair is taking place on Sunday at the Marine Hotel, Troon, from noon until 4pm.
Over half of the dresses for sale have been donated by Bridal Path in Glasgow and are in excellent condition – the rest have been worn once and look brand new. Each dress sold will receive discount on dry cleaning and alterations as well.
Cassie Watson, volunteer fundraiser, said: “The wedding gowns are absolutely gorgeous and there are styles and sizes for everyone.
“Planning and paying for a wedding is expensive, so this is an ideal chance for brides to save some money by buying their dress here and using their discount on alterations to customise their new dress to the style they want.”
Tickets are £5 and include entry in to a draw for some excellent prizes donated by the exhibitors attending.
Prizes include half price discount for live band, Mixed Emotion; a personalised guest book and thank you cards from Bespoke Wedding Stationery; gift voucher from Sugar & Spice; free dance lesson from Debut Dance, and many more.
Other exhibitors include Ernest Jones, Baroque Balloons, Executive Motor Company, Creative Video, Alan Main Photography, and many other top Ayrshire and Glasgow Wedding businesses.
All ticket money will also be donated to The Butterfly Trust.
The charity provides emotional, practical, financial and general support, as well as advocacy and representation, for people affected by Cystic Fibrosis.
