A TEENAGER has been charged with attempted murder.
Craig Boyle, 19, is alleged to have repeatedly stabbed another man in the body and tried to kill him.
Boyle, of Ayr’s Lymburn Drive, also faces a charge of serious assault by stabbing a second victim in the back to his severe injury.
Both the alleged offences took place on April 18 this year at Princes Court in Ayr.
Boyle made no plea or declaration when he appeared in private at Ayr Sheriff Court last Friday.
Despite opposition from the crown, defence lawyer Peter Lockhart was successful in getting bail for his client.
He was remanded to custody.
