Teenager has already completed tour

FUSILIER WARREN Grant is only 18 but already he has a tour of Afghanistan under his belt – as does his brother Connor.

And next year, the brothers will likely be out there with their dad, Captain Alan Grant, too.

Fusilier Grant, from Catrine said: “I’ve been in the army for three years now. At the start my mum was really worried but she’s ok now.

“My brother and I were in Afghanistan at the same time but I only got to see him once when I was changing camps.

“But although I didn’t get to spend any time with him it was good just to see him. It helps knowing that your brother is out there at the same time as you, going through the same thing.”
