A PAEDOPHILE had more than 100,000 indecent photos and video clips of children.
Warped Andrew Langan even filmed himself sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.
He also tampered with photos and morphed the head of his young victim on to images of other naked models before inserting naked images of himself onto the photographs.
The 39-year-old pervert was jailed this week after admitting the horrifying crimes.
Ayr Sheriff Court heard that Langan, of Dalwood Place in Prestwick, was caught when cops raided his home and seized his computer.
He was found to have 89,894 still and moving images of children.
In addition to that, Langan also had 1200 images and videos featuring his 14-year-old victim.
Depute fiscal Erin Campbell told Sheriff Colin Miller that the pervert was caught after he gave a friend a CD-rom he believed to be blank.
Miss Campbell said: “The disc was put in a computer and appeared to have video files. They were videos taken by a hidden camera of the complainer as she poses for photos and is positioned for pictures by the accused. It showed her changing clothes until she was naked on the top half of the body. She was unaware she was being filmed.”
All of the children in the thousands of images are aged between 12 and 16.
Langan pled guilty to taking the images at various addresses in Ayr and Prestwick between April 2002 and June 2008.
He further admitted assaulting the 14-year-old on several occasions between March 30 and May 8 last year by pulling up her skirt, removing her underwear, handling her buttocks, touching her private parts and handling her breasts.
Miss Campbell went on to tell Sheriff Miller about the 10 videos of the sexual assaults.
She said: “They appear to be covert video files of the accused indecently assaulting the complainer.
“She is unaware of the camera. A coffee canister sits in front of it until the accused moves it out of the way.
“Throughout the videos the complainer goes limp while he is assaulting her. However, she is also seen to struggle at parts.”
Defence lawyer Peter Lockhart told the court that Langan had since been to his GP and was now in the hands of the community mental health services.
He asked for bail to be continued but the request was refused.
Sheriff Miller remanded Langan in custody until reports are prepared and placed him on the sex offenders register.
