Ayr instructors help midnight walkers warm-up

A TRIO of fitness instructors will help fundraisers warm up before they set off on the Land O’ Burns Midnight Walk.

Graham Cullen, Susan Kelly and Lisa Roxburgh from Ayr’s Bannatyne’s gym will put the 1500 walkers through their paces to make sure they ready to take on the 13-mile course to raise money for the Ayrshire Hospice.

The session will take place at the starting line at Ayr Racecourse and will help walkers ward off cramp and muscle strains.

Bannatyne’s general manager Graham McPherson said: “The team have created a fun and helpful exercise programme that will really get the walkers ready for their fundraising challenge.”

And hospice fundraising manager Louis Jardine added: “We really appreciate the support of Bannatyne’s Health Club and I am sure their warm up session will help quite a few people get over the finish line.”
