Katy is named Drongan citizen of the year

THE cream of Drongan was out in force as the village held its annual achievement awards.

Trophies were handed out to the top performers at a ceremony held by the community assocation.

Carers, volunteers, community councillors and education graduates were among those honoured.

And Katy Ronney walked off with the prestigious gong for the village’s Citizen of the Year for her tireless work within the community.
