Kristen wins our fantastic London competition

LUCKY Kristen Mason is heading off to the big smoke after winning our fantastic online competition. The terrific prize was a weekend trip for two to London.

The 26-year-old ballet teacher managed to find an image of Big Ben that had been cunningly hidden on one of the pages of the Ayrshire Post website.

Kristen who is from Toronto, Canada has lived in Ayr for the last three years and works at the town’s Dansarena.  Joining Kristen on the trip south will be her partner Garry Sloan.

Kristen’s name was drawn at random from those who correctly managed to identify where the picture of Big Ben was on our website. Scottish & Universal Newspapers' Digital Sales Executive, Fiona Cairney was on hand to present Kristen with her prize.

The couple intend to travel down to the capital for a weekend in July. A delighted Kristen explained that she is not normally lucky: “I’ve never won anything before but I love to travel.”

When asked what they would like to do in London Kristen said: “We’ll probably go and see a West End show.”

Kristen and Garry have both visited London before but the ballerina added: “We haven’t been on the London Eye and I love to visit art galleries.”
