BEAUTY scouts will hit Ayr this weekend to try and find the next Miss Scotland.
A team of talent spotters will invite the cream of the female crop to be part of the national contest.
The judges will be in Ayr Central on Sunday hoping to find their new beauty queen.
This year’s competition will culminate in a star-studded finale in front of a 3000-strong audience at the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow.
The lucky lady will take the crown and sought-after title, along with a £10,000 prize, and represent her country in Miss World later this year.
Current Miss Scotland Stephanie Willemse said: “I want to encourage girls to come along in the hope of being spotted by the beauty scouts.
“It’s a great way to become involved and there are some fantastic prizes on offer for the winner of this year’s competition – but as always, you’ve got to be in it to win it!”
Entrants, who have to be aged 17 to 24, can also apply via the Scottish Sun website (www.thescottishsun.co.uk/missscotland).
