Ayrshire's prom fair is a big hit

AYRSHIRE’S first ever prom fair was a hit.

The brainchild of Prestwick jewellery designer Sheila Kerr, the fair was held in the Menzies Hotel and was a massive success.

Sheila’s variation of a wedding fair saw scores of school pupils and their parents turn out to scope out the items and services being offered by the exhibitors.

The fair included a fashion show which showcased L of Ayr prom gowns and Sheila’s tiaras and jewellery.

Live band DeZine started proceedings and put everyone in the party mood.

A prize draw benefited CLIC Sargent.

Sheila is now planning the next prom fair which she hopes will be even better.
