Ayr school searches for oldest former pupil

AN AYR school would love to have its oldest former pupil as a VIP guest for its 125th anniversary celebrations next week.

But who is it? That’s what Holmston Primary doesn’t know, but would love to find out. The school, formerly known as Smith’s Institution, has been 125 years in its red sandstone building.
