Christmas elf bears gifts for school kids
WORD reached the North Pole about a break-in at an Ayr school.
And Santa was sad to hear about four teddy bears stolen from Braehead Primary.
The great man decided something had to be done about it.
And he got one of his elves to specially deliver four new teddies for the P1 class.
A letter with the teddies reads:
“When Santa heard that some of your teddy bears had gone missing a few weeks ago, he was very sad.
“He decided to ask all his helpers to work very hard to make four new teddy bears to replace the ones that went missing.
“Santa has asked me, one of his elves, to deliver this for him, because he is very busy at this time of year.
“He says he looks forward to seeing you all on Christmas morning.
“We hope you like your new teddies, and we hope you will look after them well.
“Have a very Happy Christmas, and remember to be nice to your families and friends.
“Lots of luck and love from Santa and all his helpers.”
Pupils and staff at Braehead Primary are thrilled that Santa thought about them.
And a staff member said: “He must have read about our loss in the Ayrshire Post.”
Post deputy editor Cheryl McEvoy said: “We know our paper is widely read.
“So I’m not surprised Santa heard about this mean theft.
“And he obviously cares about the kids at Braehead.”
