A VILE bus driver told a 15-year-old girl to stand at the back of the bus in case people thought he was having sex with her.
Andrew Gilliland also made lewd comments when a 14-year-old girl showed him her bus pass.
The 64-year-old has been placed on the sex offender’s register after making the perverted comments to the innocent teenagers.
Ayr Sheriff Court heard this week that the two pals boarded the bus at Kincaidston Drive in the early evening.
When one of the teens showed warped Gilliland her bus pass he made the remark about the photo before telling the other girl she couldn’t stand at the front of the bus because people would think he was in a sexual realationship with her.
A depute fiscal went on to tell the court that one of the girls told her mum who contacted Stagecoach buses.
After the bus company launched an internal investigation, they refused to speak with the other teen’s mother who also complained.
So the disgusted mum went to police.
A spokesperson for Stagecoach buses said: “The individual concerned no longer works for us as a result of complaints made by parents.”
Sheriff John Montgomery deferred sentence on Gilliland for background reports.
