Woman injured

A 37-YEAR-OLD woman was seriously injured after she crashed her motorbike in East Road, Prestwick at 1.15pm on Friday, October 17.

Police believe that the woman lost control of her bike near the junction with Biggart Road.

She was taken to Ayr Hospital suffering from serious head injuries.

Police are keen to speak to the driver of a white Transit type van seen travelling southbound along East Road shortly after the crash.
