Firework display will raise cash for Ayrshire Hospice

THERE’LL be some big bangs at Ayr Racecourse on Monday, November 3, when the annual fireworks display in aid of the Ayrshire Hospice kicks off at 8pm.

Event organiser and hospice chairman Nigel Martin said: “A spectacular display of fireworks will light up the sky to the accompaniment of music when over 8000 firework effects will be set off.”

The gates will open at 6pm for families to come and enjoy a full funfair and street entertainers and there will be hot food and drinks available from fast food outlets.

The event is being sponored by BAE Systems with support from South Ayrshire Council.

On the night the cost of admission will be £4 but tickets are available now at a reduced price of £3 from the Gaiety Theatre’s box office.
