Ayr flat blaze man critical
A MAN is critically ill in hospital after a blaze ripped through his Ayr home on Sunday night.
Firefighters managed to rescue the man who is believed to be in his 50s.
He suffered severe burns when his ground floor flat in Davidson Place was engulfed in flames at around 10pm.
Two fire engines attended the blaze and brought it under control.
Fire investigation teams are still determining the cause of the fire.
