Ayr brick man bailed

AN enraged man lobbed a brick through his own front window after a barney with his partner.

And it is the second time in recent months that Kevin Finnigan has committed the exact same offence.

The 33-year-old admitted that on August 4 at his home in Ayr’s Kyle Street he did shout, threaten to wreck the house, throw a glass tumbler and an ashtray and place his partner in a state of fear and alarm.

He also pleaded guilty to breaking a window.

Defence lawyer Peter Lockhart told Sheriff Carmichael that the argument was over a password on the family computer which had been changed. Mr Lockhart said that his client had a previous conviction for the exact same offence.

Finnigan was released on bail but was told to stay away from the family home.
