A LEGAL row is set to erupt over a missing cat.
The four-year-old tabby was swiped and re-homed after its owner died.
But worried June Bell, whose sister had passed away, says the cat should have come to her.
Now she’s pleading for Tiggi’s new owners to come forward and let her know the cat is safe.
June revealed: “Shortly after my sister died, I went to her house to pick up Tiggi.
“But friends of my sister had already been in and taken the cat.
“Apart from worrying about the safety of Tiggi, my sister’s house fell to me after she died so these people shouldn’t have been going in there.
“I’ve had to consult a lawyer now and that’s ridiculous. All I want to know is that Tiggi is okay.
“She’s an indoor cat and it would freak her to be outdoors, I’m just worried about her.”
It’s believed the tabby was taken to a house in Springs Park, Coylton, before being re-homed.
June is appealing for anyone who may have bought a cat from there to let her know Tiggi, pictured, is safe and well. She can be contacted on 07789 515198.
