TOP Ayrshire hotel and restaurant chain Costley & Costley last year reported losses.
But increased turnover and new outlets are expected to put the company back in the black.
A £52,634 loss was reported for 2007, even though turnover rose from £7.53m to £8.31m.
The company’s one-year debt went up by 50 per cent to £7.6m.
And its net debt went up £2.2m to 11.88m.
A Costley & Costley spokesman said the company doesn’t expect to benefit from a series of investments until the year ending September, 2009.
It is certainly well-placed to profit from next year’s Homecoming celebrations, as well as the Open Championship at Turnberry.
