Ayr store boosts cancer charity

MARKS and Spencer in Ayr have raised £1800 for a breast cancer charity.

And the bumper amount was matched by the head office meaning that Breakthrough Breast Cancer are better off to the tune of £3600.

The staff raised the money by sponsored walks, raffles and a baking and bottle stall.

Catriona Drummond from the store said: “We have been raising money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer for many years now. Breast cancer is a really important issue to staff in the store.”
