More cash for kids thanks to tycoon Tom Hunter
CASH For Kids has been given a major boost thanks to one of Scotland’s richest men.
Sir Tom Hunter has pledged £4 million to the charity over the next decade.
Originally started in Ayr, the West Sound charity has now multiplied and has been adopted by 16 other radio station charities all over the UK.
Last year, Cash for Kids raised in excess of £4.5 million which helped needy kids all over the country.
Sir Tom has been a supporter of the charity since the early days.
He said: “Cash for Kids is a brilliant brand and by extending it to a national level, it will make a major impact on young lives.”
