Ayr woman smashed window

A WOMAN has admitted lobbing a brick through a house window.

Joanne Beveridge pleaded guilty to the offence when she appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court this week.

The 18-year-old admitted that on March 7 this year at 4 Russell Drive in Ayr she threw a brick or similar implement at a window, causing it to break and a shard of glass to hit a man who was inside the house.

Sentence was deferred on Beveridge, of Ayr’s Argyle Park, until next month.
