Ayr man held knife to woman’s throat
A MAN has admitted threatening a woman with a knife in his home.
Thomas Reid appeared in Ayr Sheriff Court this week and pleaded guilty to the horrifying attack.
The 28-year-old admitted that on January 16 this year he assaulted the woman, seized her by the body, dragged her into the living room, presented a knife at her, forced her onto the sofa, straddled her and held a knife to her throat and stomach.
Sentenced was deferred on Reid, of Ayr’s Murray Place, until next month.
