Wheels of history in Ayr Road Run

Michael Cooper's Vintage Dust Cart

MORE than 100 great old vehicles took part in the annual Ayrshire Road Run.

There were lorries, buses, fire engines, vans and pick-ups.

All gathered at Ayr’s Low Green, before a parade through the town centre.

Then it was off to Cumnock for a lunch stop, before heading for Girvan, and then on to Portpatrick.

There was an overnight stay in the lovely village before the return trip to Auchincruive.
