A teenager is set to release a charity CD in memory of his late grandpa.
Schoolkid Luke Holland will pay tribute with the track – before chasing his dream to be a professional singer.
He revealed: “My grandpa George died in the Ayrshire Hospice on December 10 and when he was there he was always asking me to go on Britain’s Got Talent.
“He wanted me to achieve my dream of being a singer and to make my own CD.
“So, on the day my grandpa died, I chose to make this happen by producing a CD of my own that was dedicated to him, called The Man of the Moment.
“That is what I said to him – that if I ever succeeded in my dream, I would make him the man of the moment every time I had a concert.”
Now Luke, a third year pupil at Ayr’s Belmont Academy, is preparing to sell his debut CD and will donate all of the proceeds to the hospice.
He said: “I’ll be selling these CD’s to raise funds for the Ayrshire Hospice because they did such a good job with my grandpa.
“I truly couldn’t thank them enough for everything they did
“This is the first time I’ve done anything like this, but I really enjoyed it.
“And hopefully it raises some money.”
