Drongan sex beast given bail

A SEX beast molested a schoolgirl weeks after being placed on the sex offenders register.

Sick James Hamilton was already worming his way into the life of his latest victim while he was awaiting sentencing for the first attack.

But he was allowed to walk free from court after another sex attack _ leaving his first victim’s mother reeling.

This week, Hamilton, 21, pleaded guilty to using lewd and libidinous behaviour towards a 15-year-old at a house in Drongan.

Vile Hamilton forced himself on the terrified youngster.

He put his arm around her before sexually assaulting her.

Despite breaching his probation for the first attack, Hamilton was given bail this week.

He committed the attack between June 26 and August 18 last year – but he was convicted of a similar attack in May.

His first victim’s mum told the Post: “My 13-year-old daughter was pulled into an alleyway and groped. He then followed her when she ran into a shop and tried to drag her out.

“I’m really angry and shocked. I can’t understand why he was able to commit this offence when he was on the sex offenders register and supposed to be under supervision.

“I can’t imagine what that poor girl is going through. My daughter is still getting counselling a year down the line. Her personality has done a complete 360. She is still having sleepless nights.

“I would bring back the death penalty for people like him.

“I’m sure he’ll go on and commit even worse offences. Why does it always have to be the worst case scenario before it’s taken seriously?”

Hamilton has clocked up seven convictions in just three years.

They include assault to injury with a bottle, road traffic offences, breach of the peace with a bottle and misuse of drugs.

Remarkably, he has never been to jail.

Hamilton, of Witch Road in Kilmarnock, will be back in court for sentencing next month.
