Folk rockers Kassidy top the bill when the switch is flicked on Ayr’s Christmas lights this Sunday.
And the Scottish stars will be joined on stage by former X Factor winner, Leon Jackson, for the annual festive feast.
Organisers have pledged to turn Ayr town centre into a hub of entertainment for the showcase between 4pm and 6pm.
Also on the musical bill are Bags of Rock, a foot tapping, high-energy Scottish group with a difference who have just won the Group of the Year and Rock Recording of the Year accolades at the Scottish New Music Awards.
And completing the line-up is Ayr singer-songwriter, Jemma McSheffery, who also plays guitar and violin.
Parking will be free in the town centre on Saturday afternoon and all day on Sunday to aid the festive spirit.
Among the activities on Sunday will be Ayrshire Cancer Support’s Santa Dash and a range of fairground rides in the High Street.
Provost Helen Moonie, who will do the honours by flicking the light switch, reckons it will be an occasion to remember.
She said: “I’d encourage everyone to come along and join the fun and if the crowds are anything like those we’ve enjoyed in previous years, then so much the better.
“We really do have a superb mix of acts and entertainment this year and it really is a case of the more the merrier.”
