Demand grows for Bush 'attack shoe'

A SHOE firm in Turkey that claimed to maufacture the shoes that were thrown at the US President have stated that they have had to take on more staff to cope with a growing demand for the shoe.

Baydan Shoes have claimed that 100 extra posts have been created as their orders for the shoe type grow.

The claim comes a week after George W Bush ducked a shoe thrown by Iraqi journalist Muntader al-Zaidi during a press conference in the country.
